During his tenure, he spearheaded strategic initiatives that expanded the organization’s global footprint, enhanced membership value and modernized its operations, achieving record growth and member satisfaction.
In addition, Mihai has been an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), a global nonprofit for CEOs and presidents, since 2016. His contributions to managing key aspects of this renowned organization further underscore his expertise in mission-driven leadership and advancing impactful initiatives.
Mihai is deeply inspired by the idea of helping people and organizations whose mission is to help others. Having experienced firsthand the challenges nonprofits face daily, he is personally committed to addressing critical operational gaps that can hinder their impact. He founded Optivate Solutions with the belief that by providing the right tools and strategies, nonprofits can stay focused on what they care about most: delivering value to their members, donors, and constituents.
With an MBA from Drexel University and advanced executive education from Harvard Business School, Mihai combines strategic insight with a hands-on approach to delivering solutions that empower nonprofits to achieve their mission and maximize impact.
As Vice President of Operations at Optivate Solutions, Cori Bernosky brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience at the intersection of people, purpose, and performance. She is known for building operational infrastructure that fuels mission-driven growth and for creating workplace cultures where people thrive.
Before joining Optivate, Cori served as VP of Human Resources at WorldatWork, a global nonprofit association with over 20,000 members. There, she led a multi-year transformation to modernize the organization’s operations, culture, and total rewards strategy—turning a legacy institution into a people-first, future-ready nonprofit. She also spent 15+ years leading HR and operations functions in global technology firms, helping scale teams and systems across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
Her approach is grounded in empathy, systems thinking, and a deep understanding of nonprofit realities. She’s a seasoned collaborator with nonprofits across the U.S., helping them navigate growth, improve internal operations, and elevate their employee experience. Whether it’s building smart systems, rethinking talent strategy, or aligning day-to-day operations with mission, Cori is a trusted partner for change.
